Hailing from Garfield, NJ, Miles Austin III played in the National Football League (NFL) from 2006-2016. Miles spent 8 of those season most notably with the Dallas Cowboys, rising to fame as a wide receiver who holds the team record for most receiving yards in a single game (250 yards).
Miles was signed as an undrafted free agent for the Dallas Cowboys in 2006. During his time with the Cowboys, Miles was selected to play in the 2010 and 2011 Pro-Bowls. In addition to two Pro-Bowls selections, he has also been featured on two Sports Illustrated covers. Miles also played one season each for the Cleveland Browns and the Philadelphia Eagles.
Miles was fortunate to be a part of LMTI during high school. This program shaped his leadership skills and fostered his desire to improve his community. Miles wants other student athletes to have the opportunity to realize their potential and help them make positive, healthy decisions.
Miles is currently a member of the San Francisco 49ers coaching staff. He and his wife Stacy have three children, Maven, Ava and Miles IV.
